Remember those wool sweaters and scarfs grandma use to make only to be hidden in the darkest corner of your closet? Well, knitting and crocheting are making a comeback in a fashion that here at FDL HQ we are sure you'll love.
The whimsical knitted meats pictured above were created by designer Clemence Joly, who was inspired by French cuts of meat. Pork chops, sausages, steaks, chicken feet and even a pig's head with an apple are all part of The Wool Butchery line. Her wool meats were displayed at the Fabrications Gallery at the Broadway Market in London.
Clemence designed the The Wool Butchery before graduating from the prestigiuos Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design in London. The designer's fascination with food has inspired other creations like crocheted sandwiches, eggs, french fries and even sushi.
