From New York to Milan, fans around the globe have planned different events to commemorate the debut of Dr. No, the film where Sean Connery first played the character who would become the world's most famous spy. Here at FDL, we've begun our our celebration by looking into what 007 eats and drinks, along with a video recipe for the original James Bond cocktail.
Celebration events include a film retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, an exhibition at the Toronto film festival, and an online auction at Christie's in London. As a special treat to James Bond fans, L'Admiral Hotel in Milan is offering a 007 membership with secret perks. The hotel is also home to Italy's first museum dedicated exclusive to James Bond.
October 5th will also mark the release of Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007, a documentary featuring the story of how novelist Ian Fleming brought James Bond to the big screen, according to Inside Movies.
