Ferran Adria may be enjoying more free time since he closed elBulli last year but he is sure keeping busy. The acclaimed chef graces the cover of October issue of the UK's Wired magazine in which he talks about staying creative.
Ferran will also be a keynote speaker in the magazine's upcoming Wired Event 2012. The conference, which is also sponsored by Telefónica, will be held 25-26th of October in The Brewery in London. It is an ocassion for great minds of all fields to come together and discuss creativity, innovation and technology.
If creativity is the topic at hand, Ferran is definitely the man to turn to. Considered the best chef of the past decade, his unconventional cooking methods positioned elBulli atop theWorld's 50 Best Restaurants list a total of five times. The restaurant also served as a training ground for other great chefs like Rene Redzepi, whose restaurant Noma is currently number one in the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.
Ferran has participated in a slew of events dedicated to culinary creativity, such as Redzepi's Mad Camp. The Spanish chef currently teaches a class on creativity at Harvard University and is working on the elBulli Foundation, a think tank for creativity which he hopes to open in 2014.
