Woman’s Week is coming to Expo Milano and there’s a whole host of events planned to celebrate the work of women in food.
From June 29th to July 10th the Expo site will play host to “The Earth’s better half - Women’s Weeks” - a programme of international events focusing on the theme of women’s empowerment.
The event will feature a mix of conferences, debates and entertainment with shows and performances that involve female artists, writers and singers from all over the world.
Topics up for debate will focus on a wide range of issues including urban agriculture, empowering women and ending hunger, waste, farmers and finance, food safety, tech and new energy models.
The full programme is packed with great topics from some top speakers, a week that’s set to make us all focus on important issues affecting us all.
