Last night, actress Eva Longoria served as a guest judge on MasterChef, which is hosted by Joe Bastianich and Gordon Ramsay. It's always exciting to see celebrities on the show but Longoria is more than just a pretty face, the Hollywood A-lister has major credibility when it comes to cooking.
''Eva is a serious restaurateur. Defying the stereotype of the absentee celebrity restaurant owner, Eva is the real deal. She knows food and the nuances that make this industry so trying. It was a pleasure having her guest judge in the MasterChef kitchen,'' Bastianich wrote on the MasterChef blog.
Longoria has long been a foodie and restaurateur. Her restaurants include Beso in Hollywood and the upcoming SHe in Las Vegas, a steakhouse for ladies. She's also the author of Eva's Kitchen: Cooking With Love for Friends and Family.
