Dinner time becomes fun time with this food themed dominoes game from Leonie Anholts, a recent graduate of Academie Artemis. The Netherlands based designer has turned the tedium of thumbing through recipes for inspiration into a game, quite literally, in Anatomy of a Recipe.
In an alternative take on traditional dominoes Anholts' edible version uses a set of domino resin tiles which each contain a food ingredient encased inside. Each tile corresponds with a recipe from the cook book which accompanies the set.
Dominoes is played in the traditional manner by a willing team of hungry participants with the winning last tile being the final decision maker on what the recipe will be. We can only assume that the victor gets to wear the chef whites and the sore losers are rewarded with a novel dinner of the dominoe's decision.
Here are some of the dominoes pieces that make up the edible game. Judging from what seems to be inside some of the pieces it's going to take some inventive cooking.
