David Chang is on a mission to develop the best microbrew out there. The chef owner of Momofuku tweeted the picture above with the note: "Trying to produce the best beer brewed fro @momofuku (no joke). Check out our Venn diagram for tasting note goals."
What's curious about the Venn diagram is that it points to three mass produced beers sold in the United States: Bud Light, Coors Light and Tecate. Not exactly what you'd expect from a chef. We're sure that's because light beers pair well with spicy Korean food.
The chef's note has spurred a flurry of comments from fans on Twitter - some have offered tips on beers they think are a better fit, while others have expressed their opposition to Chang's ''love'' of ''commercially available bad beer."
When will the beer be ready? We'll have to wait and see. Stay tuned...
