The adventures of the Cook It Raw event, in which avant-garde chefs gather in remote areas around the globe, will be told in a cookbook to be released in April 2013.
The cookbook will be edited by Alessandro Porcelli, the co-founder of Cook It Raw , and will feature contributions by Jeffrey Steingarten and Adam Sachs and an introduction by Anthony Bourdain. It's availabe for pre-order on Amazon.
The Cook It Raw cookbook will feature recipes (like the 'Counterculture' made by Daniel Patterson from San Francisco's restaurant Coi, at the top of the page) and anecdotes from chefs who were challenged create a new dish using local and foraged ingredients during each event. Participating chefs include René Redzepi, Albert Adrià, David Chang, Ben Shewry and many more.
