The famed Mexican chef and Chef’s Table star Enrique Olvera is set to cook in London for two special events as part of a small tour in the English capital.
In March, Olvera will cook at two restaurants in London: dinner at Casa Pastor at Coal Drops Yard and brunch at the Michelin starred Lyle’s in Shoreditch.
The chef will be cooking dishes from his upcoming book, Tu Casa Mi Casa: Mexican Recipes for the Home Cook, which features a collection of the chef’s creations such as herbed guacamole and chicharron; Hamachi and corn aguachile; Tacos de lengua; Tamalitos de broccoli; Barbacoa and Churros.
Olvera has become the face of Mexican cuisine around the world, with his Pujol restaurant in Mexico city and more recently his Cosme and Atla restaurants in New York.
Tickets for the Casa Pastor event cost £65 and tickets for the brunch at Lyle’s cost £59.
