What would you do with thousands of discarded plastic bottles? Artists in Rio di Janeiro turned the plastic bottles into sustainable art when they created giant fish sculptures at Botafogo beach.

The giant fish sculptures are a stunning installation by day and even more breathtaking when they are lit up at night. They were created in honor of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, known as Rio+20, which was recently hosted in the city.
