Martin Roller is a German artist who creates wonderful pieces of food art using items that he finds wasted on the streets of Berlin.
Much of the artist’s work has a focus on food with objects like an orange that has been expertly carved to look like a globe.
There’s a tire that looks like a cake, a meat sneaker and even a vegetarian option made with banana and cleverly placed lace.
The work is fun to view as items we see and waste all the time are turned into entirely different objects. It's brilliant how, with some clever placement and imagination, the artist can take items found going to waste and give them a whole new life. You can see more of Roller's work on his website.
