Alinea Madrid: Tickets are On Sale for The Alinea Pop Up in Madrid

We exclusively brought you the news back in May that Grant Achatz would be taking his Alinea restaurant on tour with locations confirmed for Miami and Madrid.

Today, Chef Achatz was in Spain to announce more details about the massive project and what exactly people can expect when Alinea in Madrid opens in January 2016.

First of all, they’re bringing the entire Alinea team with them to Madrid for one month, during which time they plan to present two different projects. For their first week in Madrid Alinea will team up with the DiverXO restaurant for a collaboration dinner that will see guests eat a tasting menu designed across two restaurants. “Mid menu, guests will journey to the other restaurant”, reads the website.

The second half of the Alinea in Madrid residency will see restaurant team set up shop inside the Madrid NH Hotel Eurobuilding from January 19th to February 6th where they promise to deliver the full 3-star Alinea experience while paying homage to the culinary heritage of Spain.

Tickets, or at least the first 40% of tickets will be made available online now, with a noter 40% released in December and the final 20% released in January.

Prices for the collaboration dinner with DiverXO are:
Tasting Menu: €500 + 10% VAT
Reserve Wine Pairing: €250 + 10% VAT
Standard Wine Pairing: €125 + 10% VAT

Prices for the Alinea Pop-Up Dinner are:
Tasting Menu: €275 + 10% VAT
Reserve Wine Pairing: €250 + 10% VAT
Standard Wine Pairing: €125 + 10% VAT

Tickets can be booked online and expect them to sell out fast. Alinea is hitting European land for the first time and it’s sure to cause a stir in Spain.
