Here’s a look at the The Daily Meal’s list of 101 Best Restaurants in America for 2014 which takes into account a whole mix of dining experiences on offer across America.
They publish a list annually but for the first time in 2014 have decided to separate casual restaurants from the more formal style venues.
Coming in at number one on the list is a much loved favourite Le Bernardin by Chef Eric Ripert in New York. In fact, New York accounts for 60 percent of the top ten restaurants on the list with Eleven Madison Park in second, Per Se in fourth, Daniel in seventh, Momofuku Ssäm Bar in ninth and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in tenth.
As with most lists there’s lots of complaints in the comments about missing places but they seem to have done a good job at covering some of the truly great dining experiences in America.
