Brad Pitt may still be in search of a personal Oscar but he did manage to find himself a slice of food action as host Ellen DeGeneres ordered pizza for the VIP crowd at the 86th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony.
DeGeneres, who was hosting the awards, announced pizza had arrived before welcoming on stage a local pizza delivery guy from Big Mama's & Papa's Pizzeria on Sunset Boulevard. The delivery man was then asked to pass pizza to the crowd of celebs with Meryl Streep, Pharrell Williams, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Martin Scorsese all managing to swipe a slice.
And it seems that no matter how much pizza munching took place during the ceremony, it was all just an appetiser as 1,500 specially invited guests, including many from the audience, then left the awards to attend a special meal prepared by Wolfgang Puck at the Ray Dolby Ballroom.
Once inside, the star-studded guest list were served a range of dishes including Puck's own spin on the classic Mac & Cheese which was made with creamy noodles, shaved black truffle and a strong, aged cheese.
