Grilled Kabobs On Beetroot Leaves

ingredients
Beef
600 g (or lamb), minced
Sausages
100 g
White bread
2 slices
Salt
To taste
Garlic
1 clove
Shallots
2 each, finely chopped
Paprika
15 ml, sweet
Parsley
15 ml, finely chopped
Egg yolks
1
Oil
As needed
Beetroots
Leaves as needed
Preparation
- Soak the bread in plenty of water, then squeeze out well.
- Add to the mince, sausagemeat, salt, pressed garlic, shallots, paprika, parsley and egg yolk and mix well to combine.
- Form into rolls about the size of your thumb.
- Insert a wooden skewer into each roll, brush with oil and cook slowly on all sides on a hot barbecue until golden brown.
- Serve on beetroot leaves.
