Zucchini
1, thickish, yellow
Mozzarella cheese
2 balls
Tomatoes
4
Pepper
Freshly ground
Olive oil
Salt
Basil
Fresh
Balsamic vinegar

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Wash the zucchini, cut off the ends and slice across into fairly thick slices. Season with salt and pepper. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the zucchini slices on both sides until lightly browned. Wash and slice the tomatoes.
  3. Slice the mozzarella. Now assemble the towers by alternating slices of zucchini, tomato and mozzarella with basil leaves, seasoning the tomato slices with salt and pepper and drizzling with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
  4. Place in a greased baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
