To prepare cha-ca la vong recipe, an iconic fish-based dish from Hanoi (Vietnam), first crush the garlic and mix with the ginger, turmeric and yogurt.
Add the fish, mix well and marinate for around 5 minutes.
Heat plenty of oil in a high-sided frying pan and fry the fish pieces for 3 minutes.
Add the onions and chilli and fry together for 1-2 minutes.
Add the dill shortly before serving.
Arrange cha-ca la vong in bowls and serve with wedges of lime.
