Okra Pods (Lady's Fingers) with Onions
How to prepare okra pods, known in many English-speaking countries as ladies' fingers, to be served as a tasty vegan side.

Okra
500 g, diagonally sliced into bite-size pieces
Lemons
1, juice
Onion
3 each, cut into rings
Oil
3 tbsp
Vegetable stock
50 ml
Preparation
Place the okra pods in a bowl with water and lemon juice.
Heat the oil and fry the onions on a high heat until brown.
Add the okra pods and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the broth and allow to cook for 7 minutes.
Season to taste and serve with naan bread.
