We see a lot of molecular makeovers at FDL HQ but popsicles really are not what we expect to find when looking at molecular gastronomy.
However, this is exactly what designer David Marx has created at The Kitchen Science in Berlin.
Called the KYL21 the popsicle is made from 100% vegan, organic and lactose free ingredients and and can be made into very exact shapes - like the one seen above.
The popsicles have been shown at a number of fashion shows and VIP events and now the designer is hoping to take them on the road in 2014.
Marz says that most shapes and flavors are possible and that the same process can also be applied to making cocktail flavored popsicles.
