Remember when rappers popularized mouth bling? Well, the trend of wearing grillz has taken a bit of a sci-fi spin and resulted in a smart tooth that senses how much you eat and drink.
The Smart Tooth was created by researchers at the National Taiwan University. It's essentially a Wi-Fi-enabled tooth sensor that can also track how much people smoke, cough and chew, according to The Daily News.
A motion sensor is actually embedded into a very small chip that can measure all oral activity. In tests, the Smart Tooth was able to assess close to 94% of all movement.
We've yet to see it on the market but the Smart Tooth certainly has the potential to take the world by storm, one bite at a time.
