The second edition of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, will be announced on September 3rd in Lima, Peru.
Speaking about the announcement, William Drew, Group Editor of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, said: “Following the success of the first edition of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2013, we are delighted to be returning to Lima, Peru, for a second year. We will build on the solid basis established last year – aided by the warm welcome we received from chefs, the restaurant industry and the media - to produce a credible annual list and host a joyous celebration of the greatest restaurants and chefs in Latin America. Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants will also provide diners across the globe with recommendations and insight into this diverse and hugely exciting culinary region.”
Gaston Acurio and his Astrid y Gaston restaurant in Peru was crowned as the best restaurant in Latin America in 2013 (dish pictured above) Alex Atala’s D.O.M restaurant took second place.
