In what promises to be a dinner of a lifetime, six of the world's best chefs are getting together to cook for Neil Perry's annual Ultimate Dinner, a charity event that raises funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation.
Brett Graham, Heston Blumenthal, Thomas Keller, Grant Achatz , Ben Shewry and chef Perry will all combine forces bringing together 17 Michelin stars and years of cooking experience in the kitchen.
The Ultimate Dinner will take place at The Rockpool Bar & Grill Sydney in September. It will include six courses, one from each of the chefs with each plate paired with an Australian wine.
Speaking about the dinner Perry said he was putting the final touches to each of the course, adding: “We are all passionate about the work we do for charity and love coming together for this event to create a one-off menu using the best produce and wine in the country."
Since the dinners began in 2003 they have raised around $1 million for charity.
