Turkey stew is a hearty, comforting dish that’s the ultimate way to make the most out of those turkey leftovers from Thanksgiving or the holiday season. 24 oz/680g, shredded

How to make this recipe for turkey stew

Step 01

Melt the butter in a pot over a medium heat, then place the chopped onions into the pot once fully melted. Cook for 8 minutes until tender.

Step 02

Once the onions are fully tender, add the sliced carrots, chopped celery, and chopped garlic cloves. Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 03

Add the diced potatoes and all-purpose flour and then pour in the chicken stock gradually. Add the leftover turkey and bring to a boil. Once boiling reduce the heat to allow the stew to simmer and cover with a lid. Leave for 30 minutes, returning to check on the stew intermittently. Season with salt to taste and serve warm.
