The team behind The Four Horsemen (pictured), the wine-focused, Michelin-starred restaurant in Brooklyn, a favorite of chefs like Fredrik Berselius, is to open a new restaurant.

According to Eater, the team has signed a lease on a space on the same block as The Four Horsemen, at 284 Grand Street in Williamsburg, formerly occupied by the restaurant Neeloo. It will be double the capacity and double the square footage of The Four Horsemen, which has been open since 2015, and will have outdoor space in the form of a backyard. They hope to open by the end of the year.

It’s reported that The Four Horsemen’s Executive Chef Nick Curtola will be a partner in the as yet unnamed project. The menu will be a la carte and “lean Italian” with a greater focus on cocktails.

In its assessment of The Four Horsemen, the Michelin Guide says: “Reservations are required or be ready to queue at this eternally cool Williamsburg wine bar part-owned by LCD Soundsystem frontman, James Murphy. Four Horseman's wine list is eclectic and laser-focused on varietals, and chef Nick Curtola's succinct and seasonally changing menu rarely misses.”

We better start queuing for the new restaurant now then.
