Iceland's 2015 Food and Fun Festival Promises Adventure

If you've never been to Iceland, the country's Food and Fun Festival is the perfect excuse to visit the alluring capital city of Reykjavik. From February 25th to March 1st, the city will welcome world-renown and upcoming chefs from Europe and the United States for the ultimate foodie festival.
The 2015 Food and Food Festival offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy world-class dining with Icelandic outdoor adventure. During the weeklong fest, each chef is assigned to one of the 19 participating restaurants. They will be tasked with preparing a special menu crafted from Icelandic ingredients only, with the menus being served for the entire week.
Aside from gourmet eats, the festival holds an anual chef competition that takes place on the last day of the event. Chefs are required to cook three courses made using only Icelandic ingredients. Participating chefs include Atli Már Yngvason, Hussein Mustapha, Adam Dahlberg, David Tamburini, Frida Ronge, Alberto Navarette, Michael Wilson, Felipe Milanes.
