Already planning your spring travels? Swing by the charming city of Charleston this March to celebrate its 10th annual Wine and Food Festival, which brings together hundreds of chefs, wine and beer experts, artists, farmers and purveyors all eager to share their expertise with visitors.
The 2015 Charleston Wine and Food Festival will take place March 4th to 8th at different locations across this historic city. Visitors will get a chance to sample the big flavors of the South by participating in events like the Big Daddy Bourbon Workshop, a seminar on Classic Charleston Punches, cooking classes with local chefs and signature dinners at the city's most famous restaurants.
Other highlights include 50 Shades of Earl Grey, a high-tea hosted by Nathalie Dupree, the Grand Dame of Southern cuisine. If traveling off the beaten path is for you, then don't miss the Wadmalaw Island Excursion where you'll visit the Firefly Distillery and enjoy a three-course lunch.
