After serving Danish ants to the world the team from Noma and the Nordic Food Lab have been experimenting with more foreign insect flavors.
In the latest video released by the lab we see a kitchen team set about cooking hissing cockroach for breakfast.
The insect is boiled before being cut in half and fried along with split peas. It's then placed on the plate before being tried for the first time by some of the more daring members of the team.
It may seem a little crazy but it's meals like these that lead to interesting flavor discoveries and allow the team to keep surprising guests.
The Noma restaurant in Copenhagen has three times been voted the best in the world on The World's 50 Best Restaurants List sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
