Wooden Popsicles Designed in Italy

Popsicles - sweet, lush, fruity and refreshing, that is if they're not made entirely from wood.

Yes that's good old tree sourced wood - the Italian designer Mauro Savoldi has designed a range of wooden popsicles.

The popsicles a a throw back to the wooden stick that acts as the foundation of the iced dessert and Savoldi suggest his wanted to capture the 'magic of the summer ices.'

We're not sure if they're as good as the real thing but they're beautifully designed and very unique.
