Casablanca's Cuisine
This week at Fine Dining Lovers we kicked things off with a spectacular dining tour of Casablanca.
Located on Morocco's Atlantic coast, this city is the stuff of legends and beautifully reflects the influence of its Arab, African, French and Spanish legacies.
We wanted to know where to eat in Casablanca from 25, 50, and up to 100 euros.
The Terroir Symposium
Also this week we attended the 3rd annual Terroir Symposium. The chef-studded event was hosted in Warsaw and featured local and international chefs, restaurateurs, historians, journalists, and anthropologists.
Sponsored by S.Pellegrino, the three-day symposium focused on the exploration of local food and topics such as "what constitutes traditional cuisine?". Participating chefs included Amanda Cohen, of NYC's Dirt Candy, and Maksut Askar from Istanbul's Neolokal, among others.
In the blog
This week in the blog we were shaken by news of the death of Anthony Bourdain, a true pioneer and inspiring chef. We also explored 8 traditional Salvadoran dishes, brought you a look at food porn from ''North America's best restaurant" and more.
