WATCH: Author Madhur Jaffrey Ponders Food Traditions

Here's the fourth video released from this year's MAD Symposium held in Copenhagen. It features renown Indian cookbook author, actress and television and radio presenter Madhur Jaffrey.

Jaffrey gives a mesmerizing speech about food traditions across the world, peppering her talk with memories from travels across India, Japan and Indonesia. She asks: "Why do people eat what they eat? What makes one group of people eat something that another group will not touch?"
