A few weeks ago we brought you our top tips for food bloggers on Pinterest - after spending lots of time on the site building the Fine Dining Lovers Pinterest boards we thought we'd share some of our favourite finds. So here's FDL's top five food boards on Pinterest.com.
Cakes
Simply titled Cakes this board by pinner Belle Memories Kristen Sherman is an amazing collection of nearly 500 great looking cakes. With a particular focus on tiered designs this is an amazing board if you're looking for some cake inspiration or even trying to find that perfect icing for your wedding cake.
Food Art
With over 250,000 followers the Food Art board by Jane Wang is a great collection of art pieces made from food. Designs, sculptures - chickens made entirely from egg shells and potatoes wearing bikinis - it's all on the food art board - a great place to add and find pictures to re-pin.
Wine, Wine Labels & Wine Cellars
This is a new board from Joan - we like it because it's a little different to the usual recipe and chocolate boards and some of the pins are really interesting with historical wine labels, bottle designs and some of the most beautiful traditional wine cellars in the world.
Sweet Tooth
Whole Foods have created a great Sweet Tooth board with a whole selection of delectable desserts to get those sweet saliva juices flowing. Cakes, buns, ice cream, cookies - this board has over 100 pins and with nearly 40,000 followers shows just how popular food, especially sweet food, is on Pinterest.
Pro Food Photography
The final board is one of our own and one we are very proud of because it shows off some of the amazing food photographers we've featured so far on FDL. It's called Pro Food Photography and is a collection of some of the best food pictures from the web - It has just 12 pins at the minute and we can't wait to see what other people pin to it - so check out the Fine Dining Lovers boards and show us your pins.
