If you’re feeling particularly preppy and peckish next time you’re in London, then Ralph Lauren’s new restaurant might be the perfect pit-stop for you after a busy day's shopping.
Ralph’s Coffee & Bar sits adjacent to the American designer’s flagship store on Regent Street. The 36-seater restaurant serves all day breakfasts and light meals including club sandwiches and tuna tartare, while there’s a strong emphasis on coffee and cocktails – Lauren has his own coffee blend.
As you can see, the interiors are pure Ralph Lauren – all equestrian paintings, brown leather and dark wood panelling – echoing his existing restaurants in New York, Chicago and Paris.
Ralph Lauren isn’t the only design house to have its own restaurant: Armani has its own hotel in Milan, while Gucci has a restaurant in Shanghai.
