The first ever Michelin Guide for Brazil has been leaked online with the highest rated restaurant going to Alex Atala’s D.O.M in Sao Paolo which was awarded a two-star rating.
There are 16 one-star restaurants showing on the Michelin website and no restaurants currently listed have obtained Michelin’s highest accolade of three stars.
Michelin announced a new guide to Brazil in May 2014 with a guide set to focus on the cities of Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro.
There was no news given at the time as to when the guide would launch but an April launch was expected, the guide is not yet listed on Amazon which usually shows when the guide is planned for publication. There are also 25 restaurants listed on the site with a Bib Gourmand rating.
