A trailer has been released for the new documentary that focuses on chef David Kinch and his working relationship with Cynthia Sandberg at Love Apple Farms in California.
Kinch, who runs the Manresa restaurant, spoke to FDL back in June about the benefits of having such a strong link between the kitchen and the farm. He also discussed his research into rare varieties of vegetables and fruits and the beneficial impact this has on the plate.

The documentary, which is called The Farmer & The Chef, will focus on the duos unique relationship. From the kitchen of Manresa to the fields of Love Apple Farms, the entire process of how the pair plan, plant, research and perfect their dishes is documented in the film, right down to details of Sandberg’s biodynamic growing techniques.
The film is set to debut March 9th at the San Jose's Cinequest film festival.
