Scrambling around at the last minute for a Valentine’s Day reservation is one sure way to ruin the mood, so get in early and join Grand Central Terminal’s Instagram competition for the chance to win one seriously impressive dinner for two.
The lucky couple will be treated to a meal from Grand Central's Michelin star Nordic restaurant Agern with wine pairings. The couple will enjoy a couple of cocktails and a bottle of champagne courtesy of the station’s Campbell Bar, while being serenaded with music from a Steinway & Sons grand piano.
There is one catch, however, the meal will take place between 2.30 and 4.30 am while the station is closed to the 75,000 people who pass through it every day, but the plus side is, dinner will be enjoyed in the peace and quiet of one of the world’s busiest transport hubs at rest.
If a pre-dinner nap is needed, the couple will also be treated to a night in the Presidential Suite at the Grand Hyatt New York hotel next door, where they can continue their (late) evening revelry.
