Meatopia, the festival that is all things meat, is coming back to London in Sepetember and promises to full Tobacco Dock with the sweet scents of smoking meats and dripping juices of super BBQ.
The event was started in America by the late Josh Ozersky and has spread to UK shores, and this week organisers announced the line up.
Taking chefs from all over the world, Metopia presents all things meat in all their glory over a two day festival that’s sure to satisfy even the toughest of carnivores.
Richard Turner, Scott Hallsworth, Dan Doherty, Luke Findlay, Brad McDonald, Ross Shonhan, Maria Tampakis, Samantha Evans & Shauna Guin, Uri Navon, Joseph JJ Johnson and Jock Zonfrillo are just a handful of the 40 chefs that will be announced for the festival.
Visitors will also have the chance to take butchery lessons and brush up on their own skills with presentations from the likes of the famous Italian butcher Dario Cecchini. Craftopia - an area dedicated to craft beer - will also launch at this year’s event with some live brewing sessions and tips on how to pair food and beer.
