Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants 2016 took place in Mexico City last night, with Virgilio Martinez and his Central restaurant in Lima, Peru claiming the top spot for an amazing third year in a row. Second on the list was Mitsuharu Tsumura's Mairo, also in Peru, while third place went to Alex Atala's D.O.M in São Paulo. Fourth and fifth spots went to Rodolfo Guzman and his Borago restaurant in Chile and Enrique Olvera's Pujol in Mexico respectively.
