Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, will be announced on Thursday 10 October at Usina del Arte in Buenos Aires during the exciting annual red carpet award ceremony.
This is the seventh year of the reveal of the prestigious restaurant likst, but the first time the ceremony has been held in Buenos Aires. We will bring you live updates and insider's news from the event on our social channels and you can also watch the live-stream on The World's 50 Best Facebook, starting at 20:30 local time (23:30 GMT)..
During the ceremony, as well as the countdown of the regions 50 best restaurants to the winner, there will also be some other special awards given to some chef recipients who are already known; The Miele One to Watch is Celele restaurant in Colombia, the American Express Icon Award goes to Peruvian chef Miguel Schiaffino and Carolina Bazán in Chile has been named the Best Female Chef in Latin America.
There will also be a number of events before the reveal of this year's Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants List, including chefs Vanessa González, Elena Reygadas, Joaquín Grimaldi and Jesús Escalera taking to the stage for #50BestTalks on 9 October on the theme of bread and desserts.
