Know for his manly stances, ripping guitar riffs and his iconic long tongue - Gene Simmons, the lead singer and front man of the rock band Kiss, is to open his own chain of restaurants. He announced this week that he will open a chain of venues around the world called Rock & Brews. The singer famous for his fire breathing antics will open his first venture at the beginning of April in Los Angeles.
Simmons, who has partnered with concert promoter Dave Furano and resturateur Micheal Zislis, plans to open venues shortly after in Hawaii, Tokyo, Mexico and many more locations across America.
Impossible to stray away from the life he knows, Simmons has said the restaurants will try to emulate the look and feel of a back stage area at a rock concert, with rock memorabilia all over the walls.
We're not convinced much emphasis will be placed on the food as there is little information about the menu - the bar will be fine for the hardcore Kiss fans though as Simmons has said there will be over 140 different beers on offer.
We'll keep you posted when more news of the menu is announced but we're pretty sure that if Simmons has anything to do with the decision - a flame grilled steak will have to be their signature dish.
