It seems fine arts and wine have a lot in common, just ask Josh Groban. The hit singer, whose deep voice has been winning fans for over a decade, has joined forces with the team at Robert Mondavi to produce wine.
Together, they will produce a yet-to-be-announced varietal of Napa Valley wine to be released next year. The singer announced the collaboration in a statement on his website yesterday saying that the pairing ''further unites the California winery's values of wine, food and the arts.''
The statement also gave details of how the collaboration will work: ''The winery intends to create promotional programs and materials such as special in-store displays featuring Robert Mondavi wines and a new Groban album, to be released early next year.''
Josh joins celebrities Drew Barrymore and Richard Gere, who have also ventured into the wine business. Fans will surely be excited to buy a wine inspired by Josh, but will it be as smooth as his voice?
