Social Media was in meltdown mode last night because of a strange chef job advert posted on LinkedIn that called for a professional chef with prior Michelin–starred experience to cook for dogs.
That’s right. The ad said that SoundCloud, the online music community, were looking to hire a chef to cook 30 meals a month for dogs at the company.
Based in Switzerland, the role asked for a chef to prepare ‘elaborate meals’ for dogs and that no dish must be repeated in any month.
We can’t find the official ad anywhere on the company’s website and the LinkedIn link now appears to be dead. Our guess is that people fell for a silly hoax, but it could just be all part of the young company crazies and the company did recently raise a reported $70 million in funding from Twitter.
