Ever been faced with a menu item that you just can’t say? The restaurant world is made up of an amalgamation of terms from all over the world that can be hard to pronounce.
To help people navigate some of the more difficult food and drink terms found on menus, The Holiday Place have produced a simple infographic packed with different worlds and the phonetic pronunciation.
There are a total of 62 different foods and 25 different drinks such as guanciale, quinoa and lillet.
There’s also info provided on the origin of the food or drink listed and the simple breakdown for each one will have you pronouncing like a pro.
