Gordon Ramsay never stops it would seem. With seven Michelin stars to his name and his flagship restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London having maintained three stars for seventeen consecutive years the hard-working chef is not just a television personality.
How does he do it? Here Ramsay gives away a few of his secrets. From how he keeps focus in his kitchen to where he gets his ideas from. The chef is constantly moving, thinking and acquiring new ideas no matter where is or what he’s doing.
Famously, Ramsay is not shy about giving out about the industry and expressing what he thinks is wrong with it too. He complains about small portions and over-complicated dishes. However, surprisingly he approves of food bloggers and appreciates that feedback he can get from them in real-time.
“I don’t think that the portions should be substantial, but in the meantime, we should be eating small portions, says Ramsay However, would rather have a more substantial portion and eat fewer courses. Instead of having a starter, main and dessert, I’d have a bigger starter, a bigger main and no dessert. I am not very good in small portions».
Ramsay speaks about culinary trends, chef’s life, chef’s mistakes, his all-time top 5 favourite restaurants and much more.
