UK celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay continues to grow his empire on the other side of the Atlantic with a new concept called Ramsay’s Kitchen, announced to open in Boston, at the Mandarin Oriental, in the city’s Back Bay neighbourhood later this year.
The new 7,000-square-foot restaurant will take the place of the previous Bar Boulud and includes a bar and lounge, a dining room, a raw bar, two private dining areas, and a seasonal patio.
In an Instagram message announcing the news, Ramsay said he’ll be putting together dishes using “the amazing ingredients that New England has to offer”. Fans will be able to get their fill of Ramsay's favourite dishes, from breakfast through to dinner, with the menu featuring some of the chef's most iconic dishes, from beef wellington, to lobster and clam bouillabaisse.
“I absolutely love the energy of Boston and consider it a premier dining destination in the country,” Ramsay said in a statement. “This will be my first ever Ramsay’s Kitchen and I couldn’t be more excited to open it inside the Mandarin Oriental, in the heart of Boston’s vibrant Back Bay neighbourhood.”
“Boston, trust me, I can’t wait to see you inside Ramsay’s Kitchen for breakfast, lunch, or dinner,” he said. “And one final message: Go Sox!”
