Ferran Adrià is set to host a series of intimate dinners around the world to mark the launch of his new book elBulli 2005-2011 - a mammoth seven volume book that records in great detail the work that Adria and his team did during their last 6 years at the restaurant.
The dinners, which will be cooked by a range of chefs who staged at elBulli, will begin in June with menus inspired by elBulli and a chance for guests to speak directly with the chef.
Jason Atherton will host the first five-course dinner at his Pollen Street Social restaurant in London, followed by another dinner at his newest restaurant in Hong Kong, Aberdeen Street Social. (both costing $1435 a ticket).
In September Chef Philippe Audonnet will host the third dinner at Hotel d’ Angleterre in Genova ($1435) and the final feast will take places with Daniel Humm at Eleven Madison Park in New York ($1645).
Guest lucky enough to snag a ticket will receive a signed copy of Adria’s book as well as a copy of his biography, Reinventing Food: Ferran Adrià -The Man Who Changed the Way We Eat.
