Chef Daniel Humm from the Eleven Madison Park restaurant has offered up his point of view on the best places to eat in New York in an interview with the Telegraph.
They asked Humm all about New York, the places he likes to eat at when he goes out, his favourite restaurant in the entire world and the most unusual ingredient he’s ever cooked with. He even offers up some suggestions on eating back in his home country of Switzerland.
Humm picks Faviken in Sweden as his favourite restaurant in the world and says that if he was forced to pick a certain cuisine to live with it would have to be Italian.
His top restaurant picks? Humm says he likes to go to the Italian restaurant Franny’s in Brooklyn when he’s not working or to the Flushing area of Queens for some Asian flavours. For the best new restaurant in New York he picks the Mexican, Cosme, which was recently opened by chef Enrique Olvera.
