Although Copenhagen is home to the World's Best Restaurant Noma - the festival program is packed with such a variety of events it really does highlight that the culinary scene is copenhagen extends far beyond the major players like Rene Redzepi and Christian Puglisi.
French Tapas, a look at the history of Copenhagen, culinary arts, design, picnics and street parties - all of them in some way showcases Copenhagen's rich food scene.
The festival starts on the 24th August to 2nd September and is surely a great chance to explore copenhagen through a food lens.
