The Book of Handwritten Recipes

Michael Popek is the author of the blog Handwritten Recipes and has spent the past few years hunting out handwritten recipes found in second hand and used books.

He amassed quite the collection and published them religiously on his blog. Now Michael is releasing a recipe book made up of the best handwritten recipes he's discovered so far.

Ham n Lamb Kabobs. Paul's Pumpkin Bars and a chicken and spaghetti casserole found hidden within the pages of Michael Chrichton's book, Sphere.

The recipes are interesting and certainly require some personal development as many of them are written without basic quantities. It's a lovely look at a range of nostalgic recipes that's sure to make you think about that perfect homemade apple pie recipe you left in a book.
