If you are an ice cream lover, London is the place to be this summer.
Bompas & Parr, the English food design specialists famous for their experimental edible experiences, this time exploring the past, present and future of ice cream.
The summer treat is the subject of the first major exhibition held in the British Museum of Food, the first world institution dedicated to food and drink, created by Bompas & Parr in 2015.
Scoop: The wonderful world of ice cream
This is no ordinary exhibition, rather, Scoop is a total sensory immersion in the universe of ice cream.
The exhibition displays items from the world’s largest collection of ice cream paraphernalia. Visitors are taken on a journey through centuries of ice cream history in Uk and Europe. They have the chance to enter a sub-zero chamber to experience the power of ice, to walk through a luminescent cave of glow-in-the-dark ice cream, taste an incredible vanilla ice cream cloud and much more.
The expo will be opened to the public from 3 July until the end of September 2018.
