The summer brings many gifts, not least the opportunity for al fresco dining, and for those in the US there is now an extensive list of the best al fresco dining restaurants to help guide that all–important open air dining decision.
Online reservation provider OpenTable has compiled its top 100 al fresco dining restaurants in the US from five million customers reviews submitted between May 2015 and April 2016. Unsurprisingly, given its favourable climate, California dominates the list with 44 restaurants, followed by Florida with 13, Hawaii with 12, and Arizona with eight. 19 states are represented overall, and Washington DC. US cuisine is the most popular, while French and Italian also do well.
